Shamrocks!

Hi there!

It's Jessica here today with a blog post filled with photos for the new Twinery challenge that was just posted with the
theme of Chevron & Green!

We'd love to have you play along with us - you can find all the details for this new challenge right HERE.

In honor of St. Patrick's day just around the corner, I thought I'd go with the obvious and make a shamrock with some heart dies and honeydew twine!  My first card uses tiny heart die cuts while the card below uses a bit larger die cuts that I popped up a bit for more dimension.

If you look closely, you'll notice a new twine on my second card too - more about that yummy news soon!  I used the new Natural twine... added to my favorites as soon as I saw it!

I took some photos along the way for this card to show you the assembly.  The photos are pretty self-explanatory, but if you have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment and ask!

(added to the center of the shamrock with a tiny glue dot)

(swirl the twine around on a regular sized glue dot)

(when the glue dries, the white you see right now will disappear)

... and, my first card to show you the size difference
(and how the glue dries clear).
On this shamrock, I didn't pop up the hearts since they were so small.  I think I like it a bit better when they have a bit of dimension.

Have a enjoyable rest of your day!
Jessica
