SEEING GREEN: CHEVRON & GREEN
The
Twinery asked their designers to come up with some Chevron & Green
inspiration of their own. I could not resist sharing with you one of my
favorite invitations -- Chevron Ombre Invitation.
SUPPLIES:
Green Tulle
Gold Glittered Paper
Gold Metallic Paper
Green Solid Paper
Green Foam Sheet
Tape
Scissors
INSTRUCTIONS:
1.
Cut your paper to the sizes you want depending on the layering look you
would like to achieve. The sample look is a 5.25x7.25 invitation.
2.
Adhere the layers together using your tape. Note: Sometimes when
working with foam or glitter paper, you might also use hot glue to make
sure the tape sticks properly.
3.
Now embellish the invitation with tulle and twine. I used 3 layers of
green tulle and wrapped them around the invite and tied a knot. Then I
used all three of the strands of twine and tied them on top of the
tulle. I just adore how the shimmer twine sparkles against the glitter
and metallic papers.
The
Twinery has created a fabulous popcorn favor inspiration to help you
spread some LUCK during the month of April. Check out their page for
details and a FREE {So Lucky to have a Friend Like You} tag HERE.
