{Day 4} Be Our Valentine Series: Gift Tags!

We hope you have been enjoying the Be Our Valentine Series here on our blog! 

We've been having a great time sharing some dynamite valentines ideas, fan{tache}tic free printables and even a GREAT giveaway (which you can still enter: here)...

...but now the REAL fun begins! 

For the rest of our series, our design team members are going to share some fun ideas & projects with you - all Valentine's Day related! 

Each day will feature a 'theme' and we know you're going to LOVE it! We've got gift tag ideas, cards and layouts, home decor and much, much more - all coming your way this week!

Plus, we'll have a giveaway-a-day for the entire week!

First up, today's theme is:

  

Gift tags are a great way to add a special flair to a store bought gift (or make a handmade gift even better)! 

We know that lots of gifts will be handed out on Valentine's Day...and that's why we couldn't resist sharing a few handmade gift tag ideas with you today! 

You can add gift tags to just about anything: a box with some special treat inside...tie one on a single red rose from a secret admirer...add one to the top of a bottle of yummy scented lotions or soaps - the ideas truly are endless!

We have also created a simple gift tag set...perfect for attaching to a little gift for your love!

They are the easiest little gift tags to create - and the best part is that you don't even need to be super crafty! With just a few tools and a few steps...you'll have the cutest set of tags to attach to just about anything!

You'll just need a few items...

 Gift Tag Punch, Heart Punch, Baker's Twine, Scissors, assorted card stock, hole punch & adhesive

Use a gift tag punch and hole punch to create the base:
 

Use card stock and a heart punch to create a colorful assortment of paper hearts:
  

Attach paper heart to the tags with adhesive and string baker's twine through the holes: 

 
Voila!

We thought it would be a cute idea to give the gift of gift tags too! 
Just tie a whole set together and give them as a gift...
