Let's Get Together with Guest Amy Tsuruta!

I've had so much fun as a Guest Designer here

Today I'm sharing a project that uses Maraschino!

When I think of twine, I think of the classic red/white!

Here's an altered tin that makes a fantastic giftie:

Okay, who wouldn't love a twine wrapped coffee cup sleeve?

I'm a big fan of the 'ole belly band.  It makes the tin easily accessible and re-giftable!

Check out the interior...I did a little stitching and actually sewed down the button so that the Maraschino would work as a perfect clasp!

Can you guess what the 'liner' is?

It's a coffee filter {smiles}...

check out the giftie...

Well, of course it is a Starbucks card!

I {heart} The Twinery!

Thank you so very much for inviting me to be
a Guest Designer!

Clean & Simple

Although Mother's Day has come and gone for this year, this clean and simple design is fitting for any type of invitation you may need to create. And now, with an astounding array of 18 colors of baker's twine available at The Twinery, you'll be able to color match any patterned paper out there! Hi there, I'm Monika Wright and I'm so glad to be with you today.

After using my circle punch to notch the edges of my 100 lb. cardstock, I wrapped the card with three strands of baker's twine and tied a nice, big bow.

I chose to use Honeydew, Mandarin and Cappuccino to highlight this patterned paper and it was just a perfect fit for our celebration. The Mom's loved it, because it also matched the mini album cards I created for them as well.

So happy you could stop by for a few moments today.
I hope you will take a moment to say hello here
and you are always invited to stop by my blog.

Summer Lanterns

Hello Twine Lovers! Angi here from Cokie Pop Paper Boutique with a fun summer project for you today. My family recently had a pool party, and I decorated the tables with these fun Summer lanterns. Of course I dressed them up in colorful Twinery baker's twine!

I used a latern die to make these. I wrapped the handles and the lanterns with Lilac Baker's Twine.

If you sit these out on a windy day it is best to place small candle holders on the inside to help weight them down. And be sure to use some brightly colored twine to add more "sunshine" to your outdoor event.

Have you made any summer projects with Twinery products yet?
If not, grab some in the store and create something fun!

Hugs,

Flowers for Mom

Good Morning!  It's Jamie here with you today.  I have been playing with my Cricut  Imagine and my Twinery Baker's Twine to create a basket of flowers for Mom!

I used the Enjoy The Seasons Cricut Imagine Cartridge to cut the basket and flowers at 5".  Once I had the cuts made, I used a quick dry liquid adhesive on the flower pieces (doing one at a time) starting in the center and wrapping the twine in a circle, then added a pearl to the center of each to hide my starting point.

For the basket, I used a paper piercer to punch the weave lines on the Cricut cut and then hand stitched the Cappuccino Twine to create the weave.  I finished the basket by adding a bow in Caribbean Twine and adding a sentiment sticker to the tag!  I attached the entire basket to the front of my card using foam adhesive.

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today!

Embellishment Touches with Twine

Hi there!

Jessica here to share some fun cards I've made recently using my favorite Twinery twines along with some fun stamp images from PaperTrey Ink.  I love how many colors we have in The Twinery shop - it makes it so easy to find matches to so many colors of patterned papers!

On my first card, I used buttercream twine for the centers of the flowers.  Such a quick and simple embellishment that really pops!

On my second card, I used denim twine for a bow on the lightning bug jar with a pearl for the center.  This is one of my favorite ways to use twine - along with wrapping it two or three times around a card base and then tying a bow.  I love how flat twine bows are too

- makes very little bulk for mailing!

My last card uses another double bow on the jelly jar as well. I also wrapped the lemondrop twine four times for a bit of embellishment behind the label on the jar.

I hope I've given you some ideas on how to use your favorite colors of twine on your stamped images and cards!  I'm sure you'll agree that our twine adds the perfect finishing touches to your projects!

Have a great rest of your day!
Jessica

Sending You Sunshine!

Good morning Twinery fans!  It's Lauren here from Lauren's Creative!  I have a fun and easy project to share that is sure brighten someone's day.  My grandmother always had lemon drops in a pretty candy dish in her living room, and some stashed in her purse, so they always make me think of her.  It's such a little thing, but if you package them beautifully -
it automatically becomes something special.

This topper came together so quickly that you could easily use this idea for a party favor.  One quick tip...I wrap a teeny bit of tape (in this case I used washi tape because it was right next to me on my desk) around the ends of the twine.  I then trim the tape at an angle and it makes it soo fast and easy to thread your twine through the little dotted scallops.

Hi, I’m thrilled to be a Guest Designer here on The Twinery!
I’m  a huge fan of The Twinery!!!

My project today is an embellished tin from the Target $ spot!

Super easy to wrap the twine around the tin, anchoring it down with double sided adhesive.   I die cut some clouds on the tag so that I could let The Twinery shine!

Embellished tins are a great giftie.  I filled mine with tags:

Tags are super quick with some stamping, a sticker sentiment and a big button with twine!

I included tags that coordinate with the wrapped tin.

Super easy and really fun.

You only need to make a handful of tags to make a statement

Peapod is my favorite, how about you?
