100 Cards & Counting!

Hi Everyone...Kathy here with a project featuring the new, sparkly Platinum Shimmer Twine!  I was SO excited to get my new colors...and I'm completely in love with the shimmer factor.
I knew I had to use it right away!

Every year, I make my own Christmas cards...it's a project that's developed a life of its own.  The list is up to 100 now, so needless to say I have to start early.  I was very happy with this year's card.  Here's a peek...

I kept the design relatively simple. My tree was created by cutting 3 different sized doilies and folding them in quarters.  I then put them together to form the tree.  I completed the tree by adding a little yellow star and a washi tape "trunk".

The Platinum Shimmer Twine bow was the perfect finishing touch!  I love how the Platinum coordinates with the black and white photo and newsprint paper.

That's it for today...I'm off to finish the rest of the 100 cards...I hope that you all have a wonderful Holiday season!

Supplies Used: Twine:  Platinum Shimmer Twine;  Papers:  Simple Stories; Washi:  Freckled Fawn; Doilies:  MFT Dizzy Doily Die namics.  Star punch .
