Halloween Baskets

Hi there! It's Carolyn here to share a cute little idea for presenting some Halloween treats for your favorite little gremlins :)

Supplies needed:
(I used Mandarin and Charcoal for my samples)
Cardstock
(4.5 inch square and thin strip for each box you want to make)*
Scor-tape
Scor-Pal
Scissors

Score cardstock at 1.5 inches and at 3 inches and then turn cardstock and score again at 1.5 inches and 3 inches so you have a grid design as shown:

Make two cuts on either side of the scored panel as shown:

Assemble box by folding sides in and adhering with Scor-tape:

Here is what the assembled box looks like:

Cover outside of box with Scor-tape:

Remove tape backing and wind twine around box as shown:

After the box is covered, if you wish to add a handle- cut a thin strip of cardstock and cover with Scor-tape and wrap with twine.
Be sure to leave an uncovered edge on either side to make it easy to adhere to the inside of the box.

Here are my finished treat baskets:

Hope you are inspired to give this a try!
Happy Halloween!
