Hi there!
I
have a couple of projects to share with you today using one of my
favorite go-to embellishments: Twine! My card shows how cute a little
double knotted cappuccino bow can be just the right embellishment for a stamped image. After I paper pieced the apple bucket (the stamps are from TCM's Apple Pickin' Time ), I adhered the double knotted bow with a mini glue dot.
Next,
up is a super quick project that I finished this weekend for my aunt.
She had given me two of her favorite photos of my cousins when they
were little that she had recently found and wanted to put them in this
thrift store frame she recently picked up. She asked me if I would
'pretty it up' a bit for her -
which I was happy to do for her.
I
die cut two patterned paper frames from some patterned paper and added a
few stamped elements which I embellished with, what else? Twine! I
love the 'non bulkiness' of our twine, even when it's double knotted -
that's part of what makes it the perfect embellishment for me and my
projects!
I used Pink Sorbet and Cantaloupe
twines for the frame since they matched so well with my patterned
papers. This little project took all of 10-15 minutes to complete and I
know my aunt is going to love it - since it's got her favorite people
on it! What a fun project - it makes me want to get out some of my
older frames and do some embellishing!
Have a great day - I hope it includes some crafting!
Jessica
