'Dress' it Up with Baker's Twine

Hello everyone! It's Karola here with a new inspiration using our fabulous twine! I am very happy to share with you my new OTP project, it's a small, metal dress form, which I decorated with Twinery twine to create an interesting home decor.
My idea was to cover a part of this dress form using the newest Twinery colors, so I started with covering the top part using sweet, shabby and absolutely yummy Strawberry Twine and the bottom part using gorgeous and fresh Ocean Twine.

When I finished with twine, I decided to add some embellies like a felt and paper flowers, a few adhesive crystals, tulle, string of pearls etc... But still I wanted to direct attention to dress form "body", which I dressed in our stunning twine. I decorated also one of "shoulders" with a few pieces of twine, I used the same way to decorate the lower part of the dress form.

I hope you enjoyed my today's project! Have a wonderful day!

  1. So gorgeous! And I happen to know two little girls that would beg to have this in their bedrooms, Karola.

  2. What a great idea. I know someone who would love one of those for Christmas -- so better get busy on that.
