Autumn Celebration!

Hello and welcome to The Twinery!

Julie Ranae here with you today with a
few simple card ideas using our baker's twine.

If you've ever peeked inside my blog
you know I am a card-maker at heart.
I think the most inspiring time of year
for color is Autumn.
I love the earthy colors, the leaves changing
and Halloween fun.  These cards are a
little of each.

First up is a card I created using Denim twine
for the new challenge over at
The bold autumn colors were my inspiration
for this sweet, girly friendship card.

The Twinery is generously sponsoring the
challenge this week as they celebrate their
3rd Anniversary.

I love using our baker's twine for accents,
big and small.  For this card, it was simply a
matter of cutting out a large length, tying it
into a bow and cutting through each of the loops.

Now for something completely different...

Twisting and braiding baker's twine is a quick and
effective way to create an accent.
To hang these great die-cut banners, I used
Cappuccino & Ocean twine.

One more for Halloween...

Very simple 'frayed' knots accent these
die-cut buttons using
Mandarin, Charcoal, Stone & Ocean twine.

I hope you enjoyed these quick cards
and found some inspiration for your
paper-crafting.

In the meantime, make sure you visit
The Play Date Cafe
and play along this week.
There are lots of prizes being offered
during the 5-day party.

Here is what The Twinery is giving away

{a $48 retail value}

Have a GREAT day!
