A Title in Twine

Hi Everyone!
Kathy here with a fun way to jazz up your layouts with a twine title!  Recently my daughter had her friends over for a party...to insure that they would let me take their pictures, I made a bunch of photo props...mustaches, lips, boas...needless to say, they were a hit, and I was allowed to snap away!  I thought this paraphrased Maya Angelou quote "Live Life with Flair and Laughter" was a perfect title for my layout!

To create my twine title, I first printed the words in the font and size that would work on my page, and over-layed that paper with a piece of waxed paper.   I cut a piece of Strawberry Twine and dipped it in fabric stiffener. (you can also use watered down school glue), and squeezed the excess from the twine.

Next, I just started to lay the twine down, "tracing" the letters.  This takes a little patience, but if you work slowly, it's not difficult.

Once the words were laid out, I let the twine dry completely. I was then able to peel it from the waxed paper and adhere it to my layout using a few drops of liquid adhesive.

I was really happy with how it turned out! I hope that you're inspired to try some Twinery Twine words! Thanks for stopping by today!
