Cozy Fall Frame

Hello Twinery Fans! I'm SO excited that the Fall air is finally here! Chilly evenings, scarves, and hot tea are some of my most favorite things. To celebrate the end of the summer heat, I've already pulled out my Autumn decor and created some new art to place around the house.

I just re-painted my living room this summer in a pretty cream color and I've been having so much fun putting pops of color in my art to play off the easy neutral walls.

I created the word art in Illustrator, but you could also use any word processor like Microsoft Word.
To create the frame, I found some IKEA frames I picked up on my last visit that cost less than $1 each. They had a plain white face, so it was easily alterable. If using a wood frame or chipboard frame, you may want to paint white and let dry first.

I used the mellow Flax and Cappuccino twine so the colors on the word art really stood out. To adhere the twine, I simply ran a long, thin bead of Glossy Accents (you could use a hot glue gun, too) and carefully laid the twine atop.

This simple project takes a little while to put together, but you could opt to only cover a portion of the frame if you're tight on time. I added the fun coordinating buttons as an accent and added this frame to a living room shelf.
Hope you were inspired today! If you loved today's project, I'd love for you to visit me on my blog,  Typical Aquarian!

Have a beautiful day!
