'Secret Agent Man' Styling with Twine

Hi ya'll, this is Natalie from Southern Belle's Charm, and I am thrilled to be posting for The Twinery Design Team today.  The school year is ending, the temperature is heating up and it is time to PARTY!  Summer is my favorite time for so many reasons but most importantly - we get to celebrate my son's birthday.  This year he is turning seven and he knew exactly what type of party he wanted --
007 Secret Agent Man Spy Party.

With the Mission being TOP SECRET...I was able to get enough entail for a sneak peek of the party.  The kids had a great time and I am pretty sure the dads did too!

Let's talk about great ways to style with twine - there are so many great uses but for this party I wanted to step out and make the details even more explosive!  My son's name is Greyson and he has always wanted to have a party with his two favorite colors: yellow and grey.  The Stone Twine was a perfect match so I used it to make the fuses for the Bombs and Dynamites.

It was super simple to make the fuses.  Just wrap around your hand over and over until you get the amount of twine that you need.  Then cut a piece of twine to tie around the middle.  Pull tight and tie off.  Then cut the loops of each end of the wrapped twine.  It will make a pom shape.  I cut down the ends so the pom was tighter.  Then I added them to the bombs and dynamites.  You could easily string them together for a banner or cake bunting.

With the Fourth of July holiday approaching, you could make firecrackers for any display easily using twine fuses.  Get creative!

I love adding twine in unique ways to add a pop of color.  The stone twine looked fantastic wrapped around the yellow mini cake stand.

Styling with twine is so fun and a wonderful way of adding texture to all your parties!
