Floral Fun

Hey there everyone, Stacy here today to share a card that I created.  I made this fun card for my grandmother for her birthday.  She always loves getting my homemade cards, so this time I wanted to create a fun flower on the card.

The Twinery colors that were simply PERFECT for this one are Lemondrop and Cappuccino.  They matched
really well with patterned paper I chose.

Now for my take on a funky fun flower.  I started with two pieces of Lemondrop twine, tied it around the card making a bow.  Next I took two more pieces of twine and just tied that in a big bow and placed it on top of the previous bow.

For the center of the flower I punched 1 1/4" in circle out of cardstock and ran it through my Xyron 150.  By doing this it makes the entire circle sticky and super easy to place the twine around it.  Once I had the Cappuccino twine completely covering the circle, I placed a burlap button in the center.

I used a couple of glue dots to place the
center of the flower on the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by...
hope you have a wonderful day!
