a fun project that I am sharing today, as it
brought some very
happy memories along the creative way.
We all know how trendy the 'Keep Calm' sentiment has been.
It's become pretty popular for home decor, paper crafts
& just a good reminder how to think.

I loved this vinyl sticker with the added sentiment for
sewing enthusiasts everywhere!
To quote my husband, there is "a lot going on with this card!"
From left to right....
I laid what I call the 'wallpaper' base and then went to work.
From there, I die cut the flowers and centered them
with bright brads.

I placed the sentiment on a journal card and continued

I bought these fab decorative floss bobbins to use on projects
{not for floss, of course}
and wrapped this one with our Blossom baker's twine.
The stick pins finish it off.
As I created this card, I began thinking of my grandma.
She taught herself to sew when she was determined
to make Barbie Doll clothes for me as a child.

I know that as she continued on making school clothes for me
and eventually Cabbage Patch and
American Girl Doll clothes, she had a

'VERY HAPPY LIFE' because she enjoyed it 'sew' much.
