Hello everyone, Stacy Rodriguez here
with my first post as a design team member at The Twinery. For those of
you who know me you know that I LOVE to create mini albums, so that is
what I created for my first project. I'm always looking for fun things
to tie on the rings of the albums....and this yummy twine is simply
perfect for that.
I used Stone, Denim & Charcoal on this baby!
I used Stone, Denim & Charcoal on this baby!

Here is a little close up of what I did with the twine on the binder ring. I cut 2 strips of each color then tied them in a knot on the ring. I then split the colors into 3 sections and began to braid the twine. Once I was done I tied a knot at the end and just let it dangle. You could slip on some beads or a charm at the bottom before you tie the knot.
On the top part of the album I felt there was a little to much "open" space. I used a long piece of the Denim twine, wrapped it around the cover several times at different angles to give the mini a little something extra. Here is the finished project.

Thank you so much for stopping by The Twinery today. Next time you are looking to add a little something to your project, reach for some fabulous twine from The Twinery.

ReplyDeleteI love the colors you used! Great idea!
ReplyDeleteHA, love it, I just braided some Twinery twine for a DT project of my own coming up in March :) I tied my braid to the side of my card. I love what you did, though, with it hanging loose. Great colors, and I love the papers you used :)
