Meet Ivona!
Originally I am from Croatia - a stunningly beautiful country on the coast of Adriatic Sea. That’s where I grew up with a fashion designer mother and a horticultural father, raised to enjoy beauty and express myself through art and crafting.
Just as I thought my life was good the Universe decided to shake things up a bit and threw this guy on my path, a silly American of all people. To make long story short, in a swoop of a season I was living in America with a family of my own.
My wonderful step-son challenged me to create memorable, cool birthday parties. You know, not for little kids :) A tad bit later came my beautiful, sparkling daughter. Mika must have been an aristocrat in some past life because that little girl demands nothing but memorable and unique…
Somewhere between designing one invitation and another I realized that this whole memorable, cool party thing takes time. And so Sugarsticks Parties was born, with a lot of support from that silly American husband of mine! :)
