Julie Ranae here with you today....
When I think of accents, I immediately think of my husband.
I know that sounds a bit strange, but you see, he is originally
from Manchester, England and he came complete with
a green card and an accent!
But I also think of accents each time I sit down
to create new handmade greeting cards.
What can I do to take that card to another level
and that's when I love reaching for
my baker's twine from The Twinery!
It creates the right little accent for and is my go-to embellishment!
My suggestion?
For only $20, you get 15 yards of all eleven colors!!!
I can't even imagine using anything else to create the perfect
little lid ties for these jars, can you??!!
These fabby jars are topped with:
Maraschino, Lemondrop and Honeydew baker's twine
and they are sweet!
Here's another sweet treat!
The Twinery's vibrant colors work really well with
the other vibrant colors that are in this card.
Pink Sorbet, Mandarin, Lemondrop & Maraschino
And sticking with bright colors....
I love how the Pink Sorbet and Honeydew help create
even more dimension on this little card....
Changing gears just a bit, using our baker's twine is
a great way to hang banners, flags and bunting
which are really hot trends right now in papercrafting....
Lemondrop baker's twine worked really well with this masculine-themed greeting.
How beautiful is the Lilac??!!!
Last but not least, this dimensional card that features one of my favorite
colors in The Twinery's repertoire....
Blossom!
I hope you enjoyed these ideas for using baker's twine
as an accent for your paper crafting.
Why reach for plain old twine when you can
add color and excitement with baker's twine
from The Twinery?!
All of these cards have been featured on my blog,

ReplyDeleteIf you are overwhelmed with joy because your friend or relative is finally getting married, it should show on the wedding greeting card of your choice. The same goes true if you’re feeling optimistic, just in case this is her second or third wedding. You know how you feel. Choose carefully and don’t just get the card that you first saw on the shelf.
