We thought that this was a perfect Valentine's Day gift to show you! Monika Wright - one of our design team members and owner of I Love It All - created this album for her husband and we thought it was such a great idea to show you...read on to see how Monika shares how to create one yourself (or you can even just purchase one from Monika's shop too)!

This little mini-album was an Anniversary gift to my husband last year. But, I thought it would be such a nice Valentine's Day gift, also, don't you? So, I thought I would share this with you. I also have it available for purchase in my Etsy shop, but you could easily recreate this yourself using your word processing program.
If you don't have a Bind-it-All, just punch holes and thread the Maraschino baker's twine that I used to embellish the front cover through the holes. Or, you could even use book binder rings.

Simple. Easy. But, oh so worthwhile. It takes a little thought for a few of the letters, but in the end it is a priceless gift you'll be creating for your Sweetie.

I just wondered... how big is it? id like to make one for my husband to to put in his cargo pocket of his uniform (hes headed to Afghanistan) it looks to me this might be a good size. also, did you use just regular card stock for the paper and for the covers?
ReplyDeleteI just used a small sketch pad with the coils already installed and it fit in his ACU cargo pocket perfectly. I made mine as a photo flip book. He lived it and took it on most of his missions he went out on.
