Valentine's Day Mini Card

Hi there! It's Stephanie here with a cute & simple Valentine mini card to share. Last month I shared with you how to embellish envelopes, but now it's time to show you my real crafty passion- card making!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This card is about 3x3 inches- the perfect size for slipping into wallets, lunchboxes, backpacks, & the like :)
I started by cutting the card from brown cardstock & then rounding the bottom edges with my corner chomper.
I used a loopy border punch & cut 3 inch strips out of aqua, pink, & kraft cardstock. Using a needle, I threaded caribbean, pink sorbet, & cappucino twine through each strip, tying it to the card with a bow.
I punched out a little heart, adhered it to the center of the card using a 3D foam tab, & added a little heart sticker on top of it. I also added an "i" & "u" sticker to each side dotting the "i" with a pearl.
Inside I cut out a white square & punched the bottom to match the front. Then I stamped Happy Valentine's Day.
And here's a few close ups of the details.
This card was easy & fun to make, I hope you'll give it a try too!
I look forward to sharing with you again soon!
Have a great day,
Stephanie
  6. Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this website. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s difficult to get that “perfect balance” between superb usability and visual appearance.chaussures nike shox r5 I must say you’ve done a fantastic job with this. Additionally, the blog loads extremely quick for me on Internet explorer. Exceptional Blog!
