We love that so many of you have creativity oozing out our your bones! So many of you have come to show us your delightful creations using our baker's twine {we love everything!!!}...and many of you have said you need the full spools of twine because you just can't get enough! Well...we're beyond tickled, of course - and we can't get enough of your crafty ideas as well!!
With that being said...many of you that have the full spools of all of our colors often ask us questions about storing the twine. While our spools are easy to store in craft boxes or on your shelves, drawers or closets...some of you have asked if we have any tips on how to store it in such a way so they can be displayed in fun ways in your craft rooms.
We've been up in the air about creating twine holders for our shop...so if you buy our spools, you'd also have the option to buy a display of some sort...but after much consideration, at this time we know that there are MANY other affordable options that you already probably have right at your fingertips! We'll keep trying to think of a way to create a lightweight (remember, shipping can be a doozy with heavy things) display of some sort...until then...here are some AMAZING twine storage ideas for you!
All the ideas have come from our amazing design team members & fans! Keep the ideas coming...we'd love to see or know how you store your twine spools from The Twinery!

This is a creamer/sugar canister that I bought at Walmart. It fits the spools of twine perfectly! The twine comes out the opening without any problem! I love it!! I can't wait to get all my Twinery twine in these all lined up on my shelf! How pretty will that be!!?
The best thing is that this only cost 99 cents!!
Happy shopping!! :)

I don't have any twine, YET, but I love how Greenbean Crafterole stores hers on "toadspools" here: http://thegreenbeanscrafterole.blogspot.com/2010/08/toadspools.html
ReplyDeleteToo cute!
I soooo love the sugar jar idea. My local WalMart here in Canada didn't carry those jars so I popped next door to the dollar store and, JACKPOT, I hit the mother lode. The great part - yep - just a dollar each! Thanks for the great storage idea Jennifer!
ReplyDeleteJennifer, love your idea! I just cleaned out my jar because it wasn't working very well as a sugar container & this idea is perfect!!
ReplyDeletebrilliant, I love your ideas!!!!!
