Cute & Simple Love Card: U + ME = ♥

This card - created for us by Stephanie - is so adorable...it would be prefect for the upcoming Valentine's Day holiday or just about any occasion...a handmade card for your sweetie is always so much more heartfelt! Stephanie is right - this card is too cute to boot!

Hi there, today I have another card to share with you. This one is super easy and cute to boot :)

All you need is your favorite baker's twine, a pencil, glue stick, needle, & a foam sticker.

Instructions:
1. Lightly draw the letters onto the card, then erase them so they're barely visible.
2. Stitch the + and = sign using a needle.
3. Use the very edge of your glue stick to trace each letter one at a time.
4. Adhere the twine to the glued areas.
5. Get an adhesive backed foam heart. I trimmed mine to make a cuter shape of it.
6. Layer the twine to the adhesive side. I started from the outside & worked my way to the center.
7. Adhere heart to card with glue stick or double stick tape.



These techniques are very versatile- make any message you like & use any shape(s) you like! I got these foam hearts at Joann's last year on clearance. I've seen tons of these at the dollar section of Target too ;)
